Tonkin Bamboo diameter range is from 5mm to 20mm, length can be cut from 50cm to 300cm, it is most used for nursery, plant growing, garden and agriculture field.
Chinese Dan Bamboo diameter range is from 20mm to 40mm, length can be cut from 50cm to 600cm, such bamboo type has smooth & light yellow surface, it was mostly used for bamboo fencing & panels making.
Chinese Hong Bamboo diameter was selected from 40mm to 70mm, length can be as 50cm to 600cm, (don’t suggest too long due to the taper shape from natural bamboo character). Hong bamboo is as middle
large range bamboo poles, it’s application covers many field, such as garden project, housing decoration and even construction use purpose.
Moso Bamboo, it has largest diameter range from all species bamboo poles, their diameter can be from 80mm to 150mm ! Length cutting will meet all your needs, maximum length can be as long as container’s length size, like 12 meters.

Treatment and Process of Bamboo Poles
1. Raw Material Parparation- We cust fresh bamboo materials from local mountain / forest by our
local farmers, then transport them to our factory.we will use a large iron tank, put the water in
it,burn the water until boiling.
2. Put all fresh bamboo materials into the tank with Alkali Chemicals for boiling them at least 1 hours
(90-100℃), this step will remove the oil and sugar from the moso bamboo.
3. Cleaning up - Then put the bamboo into another clear pool water for cooling them down, and clean
them up.
4. Sunshine Drying - after cleaning, we will put the bamboo on the ground for drying naturally in
sunshine at least 2-3 weeks. if sunshine is strong, it will take 2 weeks that bamboo will be dried
good.
5. Kiln Dry - we will use the heat / drying house for drying these bamboo completely, safe line for
dryness is below 20 degree (special device to measure).
6. Mildew-Retarding Agent use- After drying finish, we cut the bamboo as your requested length,
then we will spray the chemical of “Mildew-Regarding Agent”on the surface of bamboo poles,
especially for the top and bottom cutting ends, this step will be secured bamboo without high
moisture level and moldy issues during transporation.
7. Packing & Silica Gel (dryer) – We pack the bamboo poles in good condition, and put several Silica
Gel bags into the packing, to prevent bamboo poles from moldy further.
8. Fumigation and Shipping – Finally, our local authorized quarantine bureau will fumigate all bamboo
poles with Methyl Bromide chemicals 24 hours in sealed house, dosage 36g / CBM. This way for
killing all potential insects, bugs and their eggs inside of bamboo pole.
After all, we can load & ship these bamboo poles, fences to overseas.
